Artistic installation carried out in the elevator of Casa Decor Madrid, held at the former headquarters of the Official College of Architects.

Elevators are like a pause without any meaning of their own, an empty wait for the next step.
INSIDE, we have an elevator transformed into a uterus.
Through the reproduction of the sound of the heartbeat and the translucent lighting on the interior walls and ceiling of the elevator, this project transported the visitor back to the experience of being in the warm intrauterine environment.
In this cocoon, time stretched out in a universe without measure, where one could be without hurry or worry about leaving.

* IN TRANSITION, a series of four installations made in transitional spaces (stairs, elevators, hallways), coined by the French anthropologist Marc Augé as non-places: “black holes that take us from A to B but where nothing happens.”
The project sought to give meaning to these functional, uniform and standardized spaces, which do not offer any emotional connection with their users, transforming them into an experience full of colors, textures and sensations.
